MFR 2012

Well we got things wrapped up just in time to make the annual trip to Port Alsworth.  The addition was dried hours before our departure, the yard was picked up of all the things that shouldn’t be buried in the coming snow and the winter clothes were dug out.  There were a thousand more things that were finished but I don’t want to bore you.  Each fall Arctic Barnabas Ministries host a Ministry Family Retreat and we look forward to attending every year.  This year Del Tackett of The Truth Project was the speaker and Danny Oertli did the music, it doesn’t get any better than that!  We had a great time of refreshment and fellowship, just sad that we have to wait another year to do it again.

Ministry Family Retreat

We have enjoyed a great time of fellowship with other ministry families from around Alaska the past week.  Arctic Barnabas Ministries and Tanalian Bible Camp do a wonderful job of facilitating a time where we can recharge and share with other families from the villages.  The kids look forward to this all year long and are disappointed that the time at the retreat goes by so fast (Mom and Dad are too if the truth be known).  We have been able to make lasting friendships during our time at this retreat over the years.
