Last week Lyndy was able to come with me as I traveled to Seattle for Airmen’s business. It was great to see her mom and have some time for just the two of us. A friend stayed with the girls and they seemed to enjoy their time too.
This week Bill Troxel and I are traveling to Southern California to attend the Shepherd’s Conference. I attended last year and I’m looking forward to another great time of teaching and fellowship. Look for updates as the week rolls along.
Sabrina and I are in Anchorage for a couple days of meetings. It’s fun to have her along and it’s great to have a “personal assistant!”
The Civil Aviation Authority China (CAAC) ,their version of our FAA, was in Alaska visiting this week. They had a lot of the same type questions the Russians did. It has been fun to be a part of the meetings. It is neat to see their desire to have a thriving General Aviation sector to their economy.
The Russians came to Alaska and wanted to talk about General Aviation and what it means to us in Alaska. Here is a link to good review written by Ted Land of KTUU in Anchorage. As President of the Alaska Airmen’s Association I was invited to participate in the meetings all week. I was able to give a couple of presentations about how vital aviation is to Alaska. Fun week!
