The Hangar Project has had a minor setback. On Sunday 7/12/2015 a dust devil came through the worksite and threw around a few building panels and damaged them. One panel hit the outside wall and tore it open. Another panel was thrown into the hangar and swirled around like it was in a drain. Thankfully I had just taken the Maule out of the hangar the day before.
Here is a video of the mayhem taken from some of the security cameras.
Just a reminder that we are putting short updates on The Master’s Mission Alaska Facebook page. Like the page to get notified of new postings. According to the analytics more folks are seeing the Facebook post than visit our website. I am in the process to see how we can mirror the two so content gets out to everyone without me having to double post.
We started hanging panels on the hangar today. Check The Master’s Mission Alaska page on Facebook for updates and pictures as things progress. I will try to update the content here on the website every few days.
I had hopes of more snow and ski flying but I guess it is time to admit that winter is over. This means I can get starting working on the hangar again!
Anyone interested in coming up to help with construction projects this summer? We have a hangar to finish, a boiler house to complete and work on an addition at the house to wrap up. Some of the work teams need to be more skilled than others. Contact Us for more information.
